My very first encounter of being healed was when I was about 11 years old. My parents were hosting some church friends over one Friday evening. I recall having a severe bout of hiccups that just refused to stop whilst I was playing. During that non stop hiccup period, I was getting real fed up as I couldn’t figure how to stop it. That’s when I suddenly recalled learning in Sunday School that “Jesus heals the sick”. There was one particular lady minding me, when I said aloud to her, “Let’s pray and ask Jesus to heal me of my hiccups!” And pray I did. It was a very simple prayer.

All I said was, “Dear Jesus, please heal me of my hiccups. In Jesus name, Amen”.

Something really amazing happened when I finished praying. The hiccups started to subside immediately. The hiccup intensity slowed down and was totally GONE in about a few minutes. I felt I was in a slow motion movie where the hiccups started to slow down and disappeared. The lady who was minding me was equally amazed of that encounter. Later on, I remember testifying of my healing encounter in my church’s bulletin. I recall submitting a handwritten article of my very first supernatural healing encounter with God. Amazing! Jesus heals all sicknesses.
